IDF Strikes Houthi Terror Targets in Yemen’s Hudaydah Port
The IDF confirmed that it carried out airstrikes targeting Houthi terror infrastructure in and around the port city of Hudaydah, Yemen—approximately 2,000 kilometers from Israel • Read More
The strikes came in response to repeated Houthi missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory and civilians. Among the targets were facilities in Hudaydah’s seaport, which serves as a key income source and weapons transit point for the Iranian-backed Houthi regime. The port is known for transferring Iranian arms and equipment used for military and terror purposes.
In addition, the IDF targeted the “Bajil” cement factory east of Hudaydah, which plays a critical role in the Houthis’ economic infrastructure and is used to build tunnels and military installations. Damaging this facility is intended to disrupt the group’s terror build-up and financial strength.
The IDF stated it remains determined to strike forcefully against any threat to Israeli citizens, no matter how distant. The Houthi regime, acting under Iranian guidance and funding, has intensified its regional aggression over the past 18 months, aiming to destabilize the region and disrupt global maritime routes.
