IDF Seizes Over 3,300 Weapons in Syria
The IDF Spokesperson announced today that more than 3,300 weapons have been seized in Syria, including Syrian army tanks, firearms, anti-tank missiles (ATGMs), RPGs, shells, mortars, and additional weaponry. To date, over 170,000 items of spoils have been confiscated by IDF forces and the Spoils Disposal Unit across various conflict zones — including Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria • Read More, Photos
The spokesperson further stated that IDF forces from Division 210 continue their forward defense mission in Syria to ensure the security of Israeli citizens, especially those in the Golan Heights. As part of this mission, in cooperation with the Spoils Disposal Unit of the Technology and Logistics Directorate, the forces have located and seized more than 3,300 items, including Syrian tanks, firearms, anti-tank and RPG weapons, shells, mortars, observation equipment, and other armaments.
To date, over 170,000 items have been confiscated by IDF forces and the Spoils Disposal Unit across Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
