During the operation, an exchange of fire ensued, resulting in the elimination of Isser Saadi, the leader of the Hamas terror network in the area, along with another terrorist. Three additional wanted operatives were apprehended.
While searching the building where the terrorists were hiding, forces discovered a significant arsenal, including an M-16 assault rifle, a pistol, and additional weapons. One more terrorist, who posed an imminent threat to the forces, was also neutralized during the operation.
The detainees and weapons have been taken for further investigation. Thankfully, no Israeli forces were harmed in the operation.
This ongoing operation is part of the IDF’s broader efforts to dismantle Hamas’s terrorist infrastructure in the region.
