Amer, a member of an Islamic Jihad cell, orchestrated an attack in Jenin, where two explosive devices were detonated against Israeli army vehicles. The tragic attack led to the death of Captain Sacgiu and injuries to several soldiers.
Amer was killed by Border Police officers in July during an operation, but today, the IDF followed through on its policy of demolishing the homes of terrorists responsible for lethal attacks.
