In what has become a longstanding annual tradition, hundreds of the Alter Rebbe’s descendants gathered in Yerushalayim for a special event and farbrengen on Motzei Shabbos in honor of Chof Daled Teves.
Headlining the event was Rabbi Mendel Vechter of Maareches Hachassidus and Mashpia, and Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Tzirkus, an eighth-generation descendant of the Alter Rebbe an dMashpia at Toras Emes.
Rabbi Avraham Halperin, an eighth-generation descendant of the Alter Rebbe and Rov in the French Hill in Yerushalayim, read the Rebbe’s letter. The event was emceed by Rabbi Shaul Reitzes, Shliach in Tel Aviv.
