The annual halachic congress “Yuma “Le’Rabbanan” of Lemaan Yalamdu took place with great enthusiasm, when hundreds of participants and dignitaries flocked to the halls of Beis Rivkah in Kfar Chabad, to take part in the halachic conferences and the main salutation event for Rabbonim.
The event was joined by Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi David Lau, Rabbi Yitzhak Landa, Rav of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Eli Yohanan Gurari, Rav of Holon, Rabbi Pinchas Althaus, among others.
“We have been preparing for this event for many months,” says Rabbi Yisroel Maal, Menahel of Lemaan Yilmidu. “When the war broke out, we wondered what adjustments should be made and if the event should be postponed at all. But since the essence of the event is Torah, and as it is known that “the Torah elevates and brings safety,” we decided in the end that it would not be appropriate to hold the event on time precisely because of the situation!”
“Of course, the event took place in accordance with the instructions of the security forces, including available protected spaces and clear instructions in case of Emergency”, he added.
