Good News: Shmulik Amar Out of Intensive Care

Shmulik is now in rehab. his family is asking the public to continue Davening for his full and speedy recovery.
His full name for Tehillim: Chaim Shmuel ben Merav.
Shortly after Pesach, the family reported that Shmulik began breathing on his own, following a long period of sedation and ventilation. Just before Yom Tov, he woke up and began responding, communicating, and showing signs of healing.
The fire, which took place about two and a half months ago, injured seven bochurim, including Shmulik and another who were seriously hurt. The flames completely destroyed the apartment on Eastern Parkway between Brooklyn and New York Avenues, leaving the boys with nothing.
Shmulik reportedly noticed the fire too late and collapsed after crying out for help. His condition was initially dire. Now, with Hashem’s help, he is making real progress in his recovery journey.
