Registration is now open for the 12th annual Gold Star Teachers’ Training Course, returning this summer in Crown Heights.
Run by Igud Hamelamdim, the course has become a sought-after program for mechanchim looking to sharpen their classroom skills with practical, real-world tools that can be applied immediately in day-to-day teaching.
The course will once again be led by veteran mechanech and trainer Rabbi Michel Rotenberg, who has trained thousands of teachers over the years, many of whom have gone on to become successful, effective mechanchim in classrooms around the world. He is known for his clear, structured approach to classroom management and practical teaching methodology.
Across four intensive days, participants will work through classroom management, lesson planning, setting clear expectations, strengthening student engagement, building strong teacher–talmid relationships, and creating a focused, positive classroom environment. Follow-up coaching sessions help ensure the tools are implemented in real classroom settings.
What consistently stands out is how practical the course is—participants often describe leaving with tools that immediately change the way their classroom functions.
A key figure connected to the continued growth and interest in the course is Rabbi Reuven Mizrachi, a respected educator who attended a number of years ago. The course helped sharpen and strengthen his already strong teaching, and the noticeable impact in his classroom led colleagues and school leadership to take greater interest in the program.
The course reflects the continued commitment of Rabbi Avrohom Bluming, director of Igud Hamelamdim, to provide Mechanchim with practical tools that make a real difference in the classroom.
The 12th Gold Star Teachers’ Training Course will take place August 10–13 in Crown Heights, with a live Zoom option available.
Registration is now open:
