The Shne-Or Institutions have long been a cornerstone of the Paris Jewish community, a testament to the enduring work of Rabbi Eliezer Nisilevitch, the late husband of Rebbetzin Chaya Nisilevitch. Rabbi Nisilevitch dedicated over four decades to establishing and nurturing the institutions, driven by a deep commitment to Jewish education and spiritual growth. His efforts were instrumental in providing Jewish children with an education steeped in Torah values and purity.
In memory of Rabbi Nisilevitch, Rebbetzin Chaya Nisilevitch now leads the campaign “Every Jewish Child in a Jewish School.” This initiative continues her late husband’s mission to ensure that Jewish children receive a comprehensive and sacred education. Under the guidance of the Rebbe, the campaign has successfully brought hundreds—if not thousands—of children into the realm of Jewish education, offering them not just academic instruction but a foundational connection to their faith, identity, and community.
The ongoing campaign resonates deeply with Jewish families, reflecting their dedication to preserving and strengthening Jewish values for future generations. This commitment is driven by the collective hope for a brighter future, culminating in the ultimate goal of the coming of Moshiach.
