Chaim Tuito, the official photographer of the HASC Concert for the 10th year, presents a gallery from the 38th prestigious musical evening that took place Sunday at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, which is one of the largest performing arts centers in the United States, with the participation of thousands of supporters.
HASC’s A Time for Music concert, known as one of the most glamorous and prestigious shows in the Jewish music world for 38 years — was not just a musical performance — but was a powerful statement of solidarity with Israel.
As every year, the list of performers remained under wraps until the show, when the legendary host Nachum Segal came on and invited top Jewish singers to perform on stage. The show included performances by Avraham Fried, Eli Schwebel, Rivie Schwebel, Benny Friedman, Shuli Rand, Zusha, Yonatan Razel, and Yaakov Shwekey.
After the impressive opening, Eli and his father Rivie Schwebel took to the stage, performing HASC’s best-known songs over the years. Benny Friedman surprised the crowd by performing a new song.
After music superstar Avraham Fried took to the stage and presented one of the most powerful performances of the evening featuring his greatest hits And a tribute in light of the release of three hostages in Israel.
The evening culminated with the Yaakov Shweky, who opened with the hit “United We Stand,” which was released after the October 7 massacre. Shweky performed the song in conjunction with 30 violinists and kept the audience captivated until the peak of the event.
Towards the end, the artists took the stage and joined in moving duets, performing in the spirit of the times – songs of unity and solidarity between all of Jewry.
This year’s 38th annual concert benefitting Camp HASC was completely sold out, and with good reason – the show was majestic, moving, and mesmerizing!
