Accompanied by his wife, Janet Huckabee, Ambassador Huckabee was welcomed by Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, Rabbi of the Western Wall and holy sites, and Mordechai Eliav, Director of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation.

The visit began with a prayer of thanksgiving, acknowledging what Huckabee described as the miraculous success granted to the people of Israel during the recent military operation that decimated Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Together, the delegation offered heartfelt prayers for the well-being of President Donald Trump, as well as for the peace and security of both the United States and Israel.

After the prayer, Ambassador Huckabee held a private meeting with Rabbi Rabinowitz in his office overlooking the holy site. During the conversation, Rabbi Rabinowitz conveyed deep appreciation for the ambassador’s unwavering support—and that of President Trump—for the Jewish people and Israel, especially in moments of heightened tension.

In a symbolic gesture, Rabbi Rabinowitz presented Ambassador Huckabee with a personal letter of gratitude addressed to President Trump. The rabbi also extended an invitation for an official presidential visit to the Western Wall in the near future.

To conclude the visit, Ambassador Huckabee toured the archaeological excavations of the Western Wall Tunnels. The experience left a profound impression on him, highlighting the deep historical and spiritual connection of the Jewish people to Jerusalem.
