The seven-day seminar, held amidst the snowy Carpathian Mountains in Western Ukraine at a 5-star hotel, welcomed dozens of Jewish students from across the country. They congregated to deepen their commitment and knowledge of Judaism, learning to express their sincere feelings of Jewish identification.
Rabbi Pinchas Wishedsk, the CEO of STARS Ukraine and the Chief Rabbi of the KEDEM community of Kyiv, together with his wife Rebbitzin Dina, who led the event, remarked, “The seminar was profoundly connected to the ongoing conflict in Israel, especially considering the situation in Ukraine. The sentiments of Jewish pride and concern for our brethren in the Holy Land were repeatedly expressed during the events and prayers.”
This successful seminar was made possible through unwavering support and encouragement from esteemed partner organizations. The STARS world organization, led by Rabbi Avi Kessel, the JRNU led by Rabbi Shlomo Peles, and the umbrella organization YAHAD, guided by Rabbi Mendy Wilansky and operating within the Federation of Jewish Communities (FJC), all played crucial roles in ensuring the resounding success of this event.
