Over 100 Cars participated in the Berlin’s Menorah Parade. The parade took place in the center of the city, to mark 50 years since the Munich Massacre, during the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich.

The parade took place in the center of the city, starting at the Olympiastadion, Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, with the police leading the parade and closing streets and Jewish music playing in the background.

The convoy traveled through the same streets where Jews once traveled to concentration camps, and Tanya, a young Jewish mother noted that “it was truly a source of Jewish identity and pride for my children.”

The parade ended at Brandenburg Gate, where a Public Menorah lighting ceremony was held together with mayor Franziska Giffey.

The parade was organized by Rabbi David Teichtal and Ruby Friedling.
