Over 600 celebrated the Siyum and Hachnosas Sefer Torah in Paris in memory of Hatomim HaShliach Shneur Zalman Pewzner, OB”M, the son of Paris Shluchim Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok and Rivka Pewzner ,who tragically passed away at the age of 22 in 5775, after suffering from a terrible illness.
Joining the Siyum were Paris Chief Rabbi of Paris, Rabbi Michel Guggenheim; Rabbi Yaakov Bitton of Chabad house of Sarcelles; Rabbi Yosef Dovid Frankfurter Rov of Adass Yereim; Rabbi Mordechai Rottenberg; Rabbi Yaakov Zerbib, Rabbi Yechiel Kalmenson, Rabbi Sholom Losh, Rabbi Yossi Gorodetsky, Rabbi Ariel Gig. Rabbi Mordechai Margolin. Shneur’s uncles Rabbis Avrohom Baruch and Menachem Mendel Pewzner also joined.
Also joining was Yonathan Arfi, head of the CRIF (Conseil Représentatif des Institutions juives de France). as well as Temimim of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Brunoy, where Shneur Zalman was a Shliach and a Talmid for many years.
