Over 200 youths gathered for a mega Hakhel BBQ in honor of Lag B’omer with their shliach Rabbi Shmulik Tewel in Aubervilliers France.
The Shliach thanked his team, the youths and their parents for partaking in such a historical event .”Our city was utterly transformed into a giant Hakhel gathering, inspiring young and old to be ready for Moshiach” Rabbi Tewel said.
The program kicked off with a solid Yeshiva-style learning session. Father and son joined in for a traditional Chavrusa experience. followed by the Grand Barbecue, Niggunim, uplifting Torah words, and Chassidic thoughts, proceeding the filling out of Hachlota Cards, and entering the grand raffle to win great prizes.
The youths and their parents were refreshed, recharged and took with them much koichos , feeling ready for the ultimate goal, to greet Moshiach.
