This past weekend, Mr. Tim Prange, the Acting Head of the German Embassy in Ukraine, paid a visit to Chernivtsi.
A significant part of the trip included a meeting with Leonid Milman, the Chairman of the Jewish Community Board of the Chernivtsi Region, and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Glitzenstein.
Germany has consistently supported the region, and during this visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to meet with the Head of the Regional State Administration, Mr. Ruslan Zaparanuk, and the Mayor of Chernivtsi, Mr. Roman Klichuk. They discussed the needs and the pressing issues that local residents face.
