This evening, 12 members of the diplomatic corps—representing nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Argentina, Sweden, and others—came together with Ukraine’s Jewish community to honor Hanukkah’s enduring message of hope and resilience.
Chanukah, a symbol of light overcoming darkness, serves as a beacon of hope that unites people even in the most challenging times. During the ceremony, participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine for its unwavering dedication to supporting Ukrainians across the country.
The event was led by Rabbi Meir Stambler, Chairman of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, and Rabbi Raphael Rutman, the Federation’s Deputy Chairman and Director of International Relations.
