The Menorah lighting took place during an award ceremony on Thursday – at which Macron was handed a prize for his stance against anti-Semitism by France’s Chief Rabbi Chaim Korsia, on behalf of the Conference of European Rabbis.
The chief Rabbi said the three Brachos and lit the first candle of a menorah, as Macron looked on.
