In honor of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, wife of The Rebbe Melech Hamoshiach: The events began this morning (Thursday) with the Bas Mitzvah celebrations for over thirty orphaned girls from all over the country, as part of the annual celebration organized by Kollel Chabad • Full Story, Photos
This prestigious celebration marks the end of an intensive program, during which the Bas Mitzvah girls participated in various enriching activities over the past few months. The event promises to be a day filled with meaningful experiences, joy, and emotion—an unforgettable day of celebration.
The special day began early in the morning and will conclude in the afternoon, packed with joy, content, and excitement.
At 10 a.m., the girls arrived in Jerusalem. Each girl had a personalized photo shoot, and the atmosphere felt like a personal celebration for each individual. Later, each girl will receive a personalized album with photos from this unforgettable day.
The girls will then head to Ohel Gutnick in Jerusalem, the central celebration hall of Kollel Chabad, where the grand Bas Mitzvah celebration will take place. Hosted by Mrs. Michal Levittin and featuring media personality Sivan Rahav Meir, the event will include luxurious meals alongside a lavish dessert bar. The Bas Mitzvah girls and their families will enjoy a rich and varied program.
Throughout the day, the Bas Mitzvah girls will receive thoughtful gifts:
• A crystal candlestick holder
• A set of valuable jewelry
• A Tehillim with an elegant leather cover and their individual names inscribed on it.
Behind this annual celebration is the continuous, dedicated work of the Chesed Menachem Mendel Foundation, the educational arm of Kollel Chabad, which invests significant resources in providing educational activities, scholarships, and personalized support to orphaned students throughout the year.
“This unique event for the Bas Mitzvah girls allows us to give them the full attention they deserve on such an emotional and joyous day,” says Rabbi Shalom Duchman, the director of Kollel Chabad.
