A new booklet titled “Maamar Aruch” has been released by Rabbi Michael Chanoch Golomb, featuring a comprehensive and in-depth explanation of the Basi LeGani Maamarim of the years 5726 and 5746, including the Hemshech, Maamar Mah Titzak Eilai 5746 • Read More, Download

Authored by Rabbi Michael Chanoch Golomb, the booklet presents a clear overview of the flow of the Maamarim, with special emphasis on uncovering and explaining the profound Chiddushim embedded within them.

It is well known that significant differences exist between the Rebbe’s Sichos and Maamarim as they were delivered and as they were later edited. The Rebbe would often express the deepest concepts with remarkable brevity, especially in Maamarim, where the most far-reaching innovations were woven subtly “between the lines.”

For this reason, those who reviewed and prepared the Maamarim for publication were required to delve deeply into the Rebbe’s intent, drawing upon the broader teachings of Chassidus and the Rebbe’s Torah, in keeping with the principle that “Divrei Torah are poor in one place and rich in another.”

This is the goal of the Maamar Aruch series published in recent years by Rabbi Golomb: to clarify the structure of the Maamarim, highlight the Rebbe’s Chiddushim, and explain the deep and concealed concepts within them, in the spirit of the Rebbe’s expressed desire that the Maamarim be presented clearly, “like a Shulchan Aruch (- set table) ready for eating.”

With the firm belief that very soon we will merit to hear the continuation of the “Torah Chadasha” from Melech HaMoshiach, including the forthcoming Basi LeGani Maamar of 5786.
