The Vaad Hakohol of Crown Heights has launched a voter registration drive for the community in preparation for the upcoming Democratic primary election.
Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, Rov of Crown Heights, is calling on all members of the community to register and to vote, emphasizing the importance of voting for the benefit to the Shchunah of Kan Tziva Hashem Es Habrocha.
The Vaad Hakohol expressed that the voter registration drive initiative is apolitical and that residents should vote during the Democratic primary for whichever candidate they feel will best represent our community.
The goal is to reach every resident aged 18 years or older in Crown Heights, including bocherim/girls and singles that currently reside in Crown Heights.
To check if you are registered to vote, and which party affiliation you are registered to vote under—if any, you can view here.
For Crown Heights and East Flatbush residents to participate in this years Democratic primary election and vote, you must be registered to vote as a Democrat: vaadhakohol.org/vote
