For the first time in decades, work has begun on constructing the men’s mikveh in New Haven, Connecticut.
The new mikvah was built in the same building as the Chabad Shul for Hebrew speakers and the Jewish Israeli Center of New Haven, (JICNH), which was founded by Rabbi Eli Raskin.
The Mikvah was donated in the memory of Rafael Zohar, HY”D, by his brother Eliyahu Pinchas Zohar.
The mikvah was designed by the mikvah expert Rabbi Grossbaum, while the casting of the concrete was supervised by Rabbi Kessler, Rov of New Haven.
