This heartfelt melody, composed by the Shpoler Zeide, expresses the soul’s yearning for connection with Hashem. Its release coincides with Yud Tes Shevat, the anniversary of the Shpoler Zeide’s miraculous salvation, adding deeper significance to the song.
Nafshi is Colel Chabad’s premier Yud Tes Kislev event, held in honor of its founder, the Alter Rebbe, marking his release from prison and the birth of Chassidus. As the oldest continuous tzedakah organization in Israel since 1788, Colel Chabad provides critical support through food security programs, medical aid, orphan care, and crisis relief, all while continuing its mission to spread Chassidus and uphold the Alter Rebbe’s legacy.
