As in previous years, Yeshivas Lubavitch of Cincinnati – Mesivta under the directorship of Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Gershon Avtzon will be running a Yeshivas Kayitz for its bochurim where the Talmidim can continue growing in their Chassdishkeit, Yiras Shomayim and Limud HaTorah while enjoying an exciting atmosphere with outings and special activities. This year’s Yeshivas Kayitz will take place in Napierville, Quebec in the grounds of Yeshivas Ohr Menachem, around 45 minutes from Montreal, beginning on Tuesday 6 Tammuz (June 23) and ending on Monday 18 Av (August 3).
Ran by Shmuel Granovetter (Menahel Ruchni) and Mordechai Kaplan (Menahel Gashmi), the program will feature regular Yeshiva Seder until lunch time, after which bochurim will be able to partake in sports and other outdoor activities until late afternoon when Seder will resume. There will be weekly trips and other exciting outings to let the bochurim get refreshed and ready for the next Yeshiva year.
Chassidus and Gemara will be taught by Rabbi Levi Karp, an experienced Magid Shiur from the Montreal Mesivta, with a special emphasis on teaching interesting and practical material to help the bochurim “live the learning.” The other devoted staff members of the program are comprised of the Shluchim from the Yeshiva and other older Chassidishe warm bochurim coming solely to give the bochurim a fun Chassidishe time.
The Yeshivas Kayitz will also be putting a strong focus on “out-of-Seder” programs such as different Mivtzahs run by the Shluchim, Mivtzah Torah, and many Farbrengens led by local Mashpi’im and Shluchim.
If you or your son isn’t currently attending Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati but would still like to enjoy the Yeshivas Kayitz experience, please contact the Menahel of the Yeshiva Rabbi Menachem Benarousse at 513-886-8073 by Monday 21 Sivan, June 8th.
