Chabad of Woodmere arranged a Sfardi Minyan at their regular location and held the Chabad- Nusach Ari Minyan at the all new Espalanade nursing home.
Residents and their families were very happy to be able to have this opportunity. The daavening was led by Rabbi Efraim Setton, who learned Chazanus in Yeshiva University. One resident commented that although he had tickets to the Conservative services across the street, he prefered to listen to the daavening at Chabad since he was enjoying it so much.
There was also an amazing children’s program that boasted an all new game room, a professional bubble show on the first day, a clown show for the second day and more. “The amazing children’s program is not only to maintain the decorum of the Shul so that parents could daaven, but also to ensure the children form positive memories of Shul” shared Shlucha Sarah Mina Setton.
After hours of Mivtza Shofar and Tashlich at the Woodmere Docks, Chabad of Woodmere ended off with an inspirational Seder Niggunim and Farbrengen.
