Incumbent governor Kathy Hochul has fended off a pair of Democratic primary challengers on Tuesday to win her party’s nomination for a full term. Cementing herself as the top Democrat in the state, who unexpectedly becoming governor, after scandals raged Andrew Cuomo.

Kathy Hochul (Incumbent) 583,505 votes or 67.8% of the vote.
Jumaane Williams 165,398 votes or 19.2% of the vote.
Thomas Suozzi 112,018 votes or 13.0% of the vote.
Rep. Lee Zeldin is projected to win the Republican Nomination for governor with 43.9% of the vote.
