Boys Receive Taste of Yeshiva

The Chabad of Markham, Canada, directed by Rabbi and Mrs. Avraham Plotkin, has a special ‘Bar Mitzvah Club’ which celebrated the highlight of the year earlier this week, the boys and their fathers got to experience firsthand what it’s like to be a Yeshiva Student.
First, they got to learn one on one “Chavrusa style” with Rabbi Moishe Schurder’s Yeshiva students. They studied the Purim story; it’s laws and various lessons.
Then one of the Rabbi’s gave an inspirational talk of what it means to become Bar Mitzvah.
It ended with a panel of Yeshiva students, where the fathers and Bar Mitzvah boys got to ask the students all sorts of questions.
What do you guys study from 7:30 am – 9:30 pm? Are you all planning on being Rabbis? Which sport do you follow? Then, they all headed out for a delicious dinner at Tov-Li.
