Bochurim of Postville Zal to Have ‘Learn-A-Thon’

The Shluchim of Postville Zal are arranging a Learn-A-Thon for the Bouhurim to be able to Learn for the names of refua shelema and aliyah’s haneshama that were handed in when donating to the Beis Sholom Zal of Postville • Full Story, Photos

“Mivtzoim starts at home” Yeshiva is our home! For over 20 years, the Yeshiva of Postville, Iowa Founded by Rabbi Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin, has been serving Bochurim from all over the world.

The Yeshiva’s dedicated Hanholo who work endlessly to enable every precious Bochur reach their goals. But the Hanholo are limited and cannot do it on their own. The Shluchim are there to give that extra help and excitement and Chayus in learning, through Mivtzas (extra-curricular learning) and exciting programs. The Bochurim are encouraged to learn Sichos, Maamarim, Chitas, Rambam, come on time to Seder and to improve themselves spiritually.

The Shluchim are not able to operate without the proper resources. Thus, we turn to you, asking for your help and support. And that is why we create a Learn-A-Thon!

The Learn-A-Thon works as follows: When you click on the link, you have an option to donate on the top right corner or when you scroll down to the bottom of the website. Once you donate the money, the next option will ask you for a your name and then also give you the option to write the name of someone who needs a Refua Shelema or a Aliyas Haneshama.

In a few weeks we will have a big gathering of the entire yeshiva to learn in Honor of those names. Please give generously, allowing the Rebbe’s work to continue. And may we merit the ultimate redemption, with the imminent arrival of Moshiach, Amen.
