Speaking at his party’s weekly meeting on Monday afternoon, Ben Gvir said, “The only aid that should be entering Gaza is for the purpose of voluntary emigration. As long as Israeli hostages remain in Hamas tunnels, I don’t understand how this discussion is even taking place.”
He added, “Whether it’s through humanitarian organizations, civilian agencies, or the IDF, the enemy holding our hostages should not be receiving food, electricity, or any other assistance.”
The remarks come a day after the Cabinet shockingly approved a revised framework for the delivery of “humanitarian aid” to Gaza amid ongoing tensions and concerns over the fate of Israeli captives.
