The military says it carried out a strike on a Hezbollah rocket launcher in southern Lebanon’s Yaroun a yesterday, used in an attack on the northern community of Avivim.

Fighter jets also struck a weapons depot in Ramyeh, a building used by Hezbollah in Houla, and additional infrastructure in Aitaroun.

The military also says that sirens that sounded in Margaliot at 7:30 p.m. were triggered by one rocket launched from Lebanon that struck an open area.

Another 10 rockets were fired from Lebanon at Metula, setting off sirens in the town at 9:09 p.m.

No injuries were caused in the rocket attacks.

Firefighters were battling a large blaze between the northern communities of Bar’am and Yir’on, sparked by Hezbollah rockets over Shabbos.

The Fire and Rescue Service says four teams are at the scene, and there is no threat to the nearby communities.

Police release new footage showing the rescue of hostage Noa Argamani from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip last weekend.

IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari in an English-language video statement says Lebanon’s Hezbollah terror group is “bringing us to the brink of what could be a wider escalation, one that could have devastating consequences for Lebanon and the entire region.”

the military says that Israeli fighter jets struck Hezbollah targets in four areas of southern Lebanon today.

The targets included infrastructure in Shaqra and Taybeh, and buildings in Mhaibib and Kafr Kila, according to the IDF.
