On the night before 15th of Shvat, a new mikvah was opened in Mumbai, the mikvah was built in accordance with the highest halachic standards, and was named in memory of Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg and his wife Rebbetzin Rivkah הי”ד
At the opening of the event Rabbi Elirani and his wife Elisheva Rousso spoke about the important role of the Jewish wife in the building of the Jewish family.
Also took part in the event, is the director of the Israeli embassy in New Delhi, Mrs. Galit Falach-Larush. Many women of the community attended the event.
“Every day during the building process, we shot a video of a few minutes, and showed it to the audience of the event for them to have the feeling of taking part of the process” following the movie, the women of the community that are actively taking part in taharas hamishpocha activities have cut the red ribbon.
The event was followed by a farbrengen with divrei Torah and many of the women took upon themselves a hachlota tovah.
