For the third time, Chabad of Namibia, headed by Shluchim Rabbi Yosef and Mushka Rahimi celebrated Chanukah, continuing the Jewish revolution in Namibia in southwestern Africa.
This Chanukah the Shluchim arranged various successful activities, including a public Chanukah Menorah at Windhoek’s Central Park place.
In attendance were dozens of Jews from the local community as well as local Jewish leaders, politicians and ambassadors, including the ambassador of Hungary, came to celebrate with a Public Menorah lighting and event.
At the Menorah lighting, the head of the Windhoek Hebrew Congregation Rabbi Tzvi Gorelick, he blessed the crowd and lit the Menorah.
