The celebration was part of a series of special initiatives undertaken by Chabad of Tefen in honor of Yud Alef Nissan-The Rebbe’s birthday, aiming to bring joy, support, and Jewish pride to young boys reaching this milestone.
Set against the backdrop of the Kosel’s holy stones, the Bar Mitzvah boys were provided with new tefillin, tallitot, and gifts, and were surrounded by warmth and encouragement from their mentors and the Chabad community. The event featured lively dancing, a festive meal, and words of inspiration, ensuring that each boy felt the significance of this momentous occasion.
“This is more than just a Bar Mitzvah; it is a statement that no Jewish child is ever alone,” said Rabbi Midovnik. “Even in difficult times, we celebrate their growth and commitment to Torah and mitzvos with joy and strength.”
