28 Sivan Celebrated in Ohr Yehuda
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the 28th of Sivan, a great feast was held on the beautiful roof of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch, Ohr Yehuda. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the 28th of Sivan, a great feast was held on the beautiful roof of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch, Ohr Yehuda.
The dinner was hosted by Mr. Ezra Navi on the occasion of the birth of his granddaughters.
Anash of Ohr Yehuda participated in the meal together with bochurim both from the local mesivta and zal, led by the community’s Rov and Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Shalom Dover HaCohen Hendel.
Chief Rabbi of Ohr Yehuda, Horav Zion Cohen was also in attendance, sharing words of Torah and friendship to the local Chabad community.
The event was accompanied by dancing to the music of singer R’ Simcha Friedman, together with musician, R’ Levi Otinsky.
Mr. Navi, a close friend of the yeshiva, surprised the crowd with six plane tickets to the Rebbe MH”M that were raffled off among the tmimim.
The tmimim expressed their feelings for their connection to the Rebbe with true joy, later sitting down together to farbreng with Rabbi Nechemiah Halevi Segal, which lasted until dawn.
The event was organized by Rabbi Tzemach Taizi, shliach of the Rebbe MH”M and teacher in yeshiva.
