By Chabadinfo ReporterOn Wednesday, a special kinus was held at the Heichel Levi Yitzchok Shul in Tzfas, in honor and memory of the late Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Wilschanski, A”H.
In Iyar 5737 (1977), Rabbi Wilschanski founded Yeshivas Chassidei Chabad Lubavitch in Tzfas. Under his leadership, the yeshiva flourished, nurturing generations of Talmidim, many of whom went on to become Shluchim, Rabbonim, and Mechanchim, the world over.
The event — which was attended by over two thousand, many of whom were his students and alumni — held under the theme “V’hachai Yitein Es Libo – and the living shall take to heart.”
