Part of the broader effort marking 50 years of the Rebbe’s initiative of the 12 Pesukim, the pen has already made an impact far and wide for thousands of children. The pen was created to do more than simply display the words. Alongside each Pasuk is a short, relatable one-line message, developed from the Rebbe’s Sichos, helping children understand how the message of the Pasuk speaks to their own lives.

That has made the pen especially effective. In camps, staff have used it to reinforce the incorporation of the Pesukim into camp life and give children something meaningful to continue with after the activity is over. In schools, teachers have found that it helps keep the 12 Pesukim present throughout the day, giving students a natural reminder of what they learned and another opportunity to connect to the message.

Children have found themselves naturally engaged with the pen and coming back to it again and again. The pull-out feature, together with the colorful design, makes it something they enjoy using, showing to friends, and keeping close by. Rather than being another giveaway that gets forgotten, it becomes something children cherish while continuing to bring them back to the 12 Pesukim and their messages.

The pen has also been used together with the newly designed 12 Pesukim booklet, with the two serving as natural companions. The booklet gives children a fuller resource to learn and review, while the pen keeps the Pesukim and their messages close at hand throughout the day.

For educators and shluchim, the response has shown that bringing the 12 Pesukim to life is something practical and doable.
