Chabad singer and composer Shmuel Honig teamed up with singer David Taub, with a hopeful duet called “Shomer Yisrael.” Shmuel composed the song just a few days after Simchas Torah, the day of the horrific and brutal massacre of Yidden in the south.
“Our heart worries and does not stop thinking about the hostages and their families, about the murdered, the injured,” Honig says. “I sat and imagined what would I have done if I was kidnapped into the tunnels of terror, what would I have davened?”
”From my heart came this heartfelt melody. And here it is before you.”
