This 28th of Nissan marks thirty-one years since the Rebbe’s urgent call to action, “Tut altz vos ir kent tzu arupbrengen moshiach taikef umiyad mamosh.” To give each Chabad chossid a practical way to implement the Rebbe’s call to action, the Moshiach Office at Merkos 302 is presenting the second annual Mega-Farbrengen. In a virtual event spanning fifteen time zones and featuring fifty speakers, a single message will be hammered home; everyone’s an influencer.

Beginning on Motzei Shabbos, 29 Nissan, mashpiim, shluchim, educators, and businessmen will give the worldwide Chabad community awareness of the influence they already wield and demonstrate each person’s ability to change the lives of those near them.

When the virtual farbrengen goes live, it will be 10:00 PM in New York and 2:00 AM in London. For twenty-four hours straight, speakers from around the world will inspire the thousands set to tune in via Zoom. Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm, the Shliach to the Ukrainian city of Zhytomyr, will speak, as will famous lecturers Rabbi Shais Taub, Rabbi Simon Jacobson, and Rabbi Shabtei Salvatitzki. The diverse mix of speakers includes shluchim and educators such as Rabbi Benny Zippel of Utah and Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt of Argentina, and Rabbi Chaim Schapiro of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Morristown. One by one, they will shine a light on the everyday influence we all have.

“We’re blessed to have an incredible lineup of speakers,” says Rabbi Shlomie Naparstek, director of the Moshiach Office, “they’re tuning in from a dozen countries around the world, but everyone is united in a common message.” Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, director of Merkos 302, is set to speak during the Farbrengen, and says the event gives every Lubavitcher a chance to reconnect to the Rebbe’s mission. “The Rebbe constantly reminded us that even the smallest interaction can be influential,” he says, “on Chof Ches Nissan, we have a golden opportunity to recommit to take ownership of the Rebbe’s mission, that it should be our own.”
