On Thursday, the first full day of the Kinus Hashluchim, Shluchim joined special panels to help them on their Shlichus. As part of the program, there was a special “Shlichus Summit” at Eshel designed specifically for Shluchim to deepen their impact and effectiveness in their vital work.

The engaging and interactive event gave a unique opportunity for Shluchim to gain valuable insights, practical tools, and inspiration that will directly enhance their work on the frontlines.

The headline presentation was by Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky of Bris Avrohom, NJ, who related personal horo’os for Shlichus.

The summit featured a series of focused discussions led by Rabbi Gershon Avtzon – Cincinnati, OH, followed on the subject of celebrating 50 Years of Mivtza Chinuch, and Israeli Knesset member Ohad Tal, who spoke on the Rebbe’s impact around the world.

They were followed by Rabbis Levi Polichenco (LA) and Simcha Fisch (Brooklyn), hosts of the Greeting Moshiach podcast, for a live podcast on staying grounded: what is the Shlichus?

Rabbi Mendy Turen of Springfield, IL, also addressed the Summit.

The Shluchim offered actionable guidance on a variety of topics relevant to the day-to-day challenges and opportunities of Shlichus. From strengthening connections with local communities to inspiring more meaningful engagement with Jewish youth, the program is tailored to empower Shluchim with the skills and knowledge they need to elevate their work.

In addition to the practical workshops, the event offered a wealth of spiritual inspiration, helping Shluchim renew their passion for the work they do and reaffirm their commitment to their mission.
