At the end of a long day of Workshops, Shluchim gathered at Lubavitcher Yeshiva Hall for a special Kinus event focused on our main Shlichus—preparing the world to greet Moshiach.
During the the Kinus Hashluchim 5752, the Rebbe addressed the Shluchim, giving them one mission “…And this is the task of the International Conference of Shluchim: First and foremost, to make a public statement that this is the task confronting us — to prepare ourselves to accept Moshiach. Every aspect of our service and every dimension of our activity must be directed to this goal.”
The event based on this mission, moderated by Rabbi David Michalashvili (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), started with reciting the Rebbe’s Kapitel by Rabbi Yaakov Bitton (Sarcelles, France). And a speech by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Zaltzman (Toronto, Canada) on the subject of our new vitality in shlichus work.
Next on the stand was Rabbi Lior Abada, Shliach in the Merchavim Settlement at Gaza Envelope, who spoke about reinventing ourselves as Shluchim. Concluding the event was nearby Shliach in the Yoshivya Settlement, Rabbi Eliezer Levi, who spoke about the personal miracles he and others experienced during the Simchas Torah Massacre.
