On Erev Shabbos, as the annual Kinus Hashluchim is underway, the Vaad Hakinus has given an update to thousands of Shluchim and Anash on efforts for in which tremendous efforts have been made to find a way to unite the shluchim, in light of the ongoing war in Eretz Yisroel.
Chabadinfo has obtained the letter the Vaad Hakinus has sent out to Shluchim:
Dear Shluchim and all Anash around the world,
At this time, when Am Yisrael is at war, and Jews the world over are tremendously inspired to Ahavas and Achdus Yisrael, obviously, in our role as shluchim of the king, who lead the way, we need to be role models and set our differences aside and do all that we can – and more – for unity among the shluchim. This will surely be the “final hammer blow” and will bring the true and complete Geula immediately.
During the past two weeks, tremendous efforts have been made to find a way to unite the shluchim. With the help of a group of distinguished shluchim who got involved, there has been great progress in the right direction on a number of matters, leading, with Hashem’s help, to one, united Kinus which will give the Rebbe Melech Ha’Moshiach much nachas.
Therefore, to increase peace and unity, and with the belief that “we are all children of one father,” and on the part of the shluchim themselves, all are united and want unity, we decided that as a big step forward toward the desired unity, the event for shluchim on motozei Shabbos this year will not take place under the title, “Kinus HaShluchim Banquet,” but “Melave Malka for the Shluchim – L’Kabbolas Pnei Moshiach Tzidkeinu.”
We invite all shluchim to participate in the event in a way that “a man will help his friend and to his brother he will say chazak.” We are sure that immediately after the Kinus, everyone will continue in the way of achdus until we reach the goal of having one Kinus with all the shluchim together, like one man with one heart.
We have no doubt that the holy ratzon of the meshaleiach is that shluchim be unified and it is clear that this will lead to his hisgalus with the true and complete Geula.
