In a powerful display of Jewish unity and unwavering dedication, three Chabad Shluchim came together at 30,000 feet to organize a Minyan for Mincha aboard an EL AL flight from Miami to Israel.
Among those leading this impromptu airborne congregation were:
– Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz, Shliach of Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida
– Rabbi Ruvi New, Shliach of Chabad of East Boca Raton, Florida
– Rabbi Moshe Ben Chaim, Chabad Shliach from Netanya, Israel
As passengers settled into their long transatlantic journey, these Shluchim of light rose to their mission, gathering Jews from across the cabin to ensure no mitzvah is missed, even miles above the earth.
It’s a heartwarming reminder that for a Jew, no place is too far, and no moment too inconvenient, to connect with Hashem. Whether in a synagogue or on a plane soaring over oceans, the rhythm of Jewish life continues with purpose, passion, and pride.
