Powerful Evening in Cincinnati

Sunday evening, Leil Chof Zayin Adar Rishon, a powerful gathering took place in Cincinnati. The evening was in the merit of a speedy recovery of Rabbi Chaim Schneur Zalman ben Miriam Baras. A young father of seven and a beloved teacher in the Yeshiva, who is celebrating his birthday today.
The event was held in the Cincinnati Hebrew Day School of Cincinnati, Ohio in connection to the important day of Chof Zayin Adar, which Chassidim are marking all around the world.
Tehillim was recited by the community at the beginning of the event, followed by the words of inspiration. The guest speaker of the evening was Reb Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin, who spoke of the importance of strengthening our Emunah and related powerful stories to bring out this point. Many called in to join the Farbrengen live via telephone.
After the event, Reb Sholom Mordechai headed to the Cincinnati Yeshivah and participated in the Adar dancing, followed by a Farbrengen for the Yeshiva. Reb Sholom Mordechai led the Farbrengen alongside Rabbi Sholom Ber Kalmanson, veteran Shliach of Southern Ohio, and Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, the Rosh Yeshiva.
In addition, many community members remained for the duration of the Farbrengen through the wee hours of the morning.
