Lubavitcher Stabbed in Crown Heights

A Lubavitcher newlywed in his late 20s was stabbed Wednesday at around noon in Crown Heights.
The stabbing happened at the intersection of Kingston Avenue and Empire Boulevard. The man was stabbed in his upper back.
No words were exchanged between the attacker and the victim. The victim said the two crossed paths while walking along Empire Boulevard, and he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back. He quickly realized he had been stabbed in his upper right back.
Hatzalah transported the man to Kings County Hospital in serious but stable condition.
NYPD is on the scene investigating and searching for a black male who fled from the scene.
