As Shabbos Parshas Behar-Bechukosai neared, the excitement in Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati was on an all-time high. The Yeshiva was preparing to host over 100 Bochurim that were coming for a Shabbos Achdus in Cincinnati. The entire Yeshiva from Queens – and part of their Hanhalla – and a class from Pittsburgh as well as Bochurim from 770 were on the way.

The Bochurim were greeted with a full meal and a special schedule with information regarding the Shabbos schedule and program. A large banner welcomed them as well as a huge tent that was rented and erected in the courtyard of Yeshiva to accommodate the guests.

The Shabbos weekend began with Friday afternoon Mivtzoim and many Yidden put Tefillin for the first time. As Shabbos came in, the Bochurim partook in one of the most treasured moments of this Shabbos: learning a Sicha together with a Bochur form another Yeshiva. A real Seder Achdus. This was followed by a heartwarming Seder Nigunim led by Rabbi Levi Simpson, Mashpia and Maggid Shiur in Yeshivah.

After a Cincinnati-style Llebedike Kabolas Shabbos, all went to the tent for Seudas Shabbas. It was set up and decorated for the occasion, directed by Hatamim Hashliach Menachem Engel and Baruch S. Krauss. The Yeshivah extends heartfelt thanks to Rabbi Morrison for his great dedication and involvement in general, with extra appreciation for his attentive efforts toward making this Shabbos event successful.

During the course of the Seudah, Divrei Torah and personal impressions were shared by Hatomim Hasliach Avremel Pil from Queens, as well as Hatamim Schnuer Elkayam, Rabbi Shmuel Weinstein (Pittsburgh), Hashliach Naftali Turen and Yossi Liberov. Rabbi Zalman Sandhaus – Mashgiach in Queens – led a Shturemdike Farbrengen through the night.

On Shabbos morning everyone came at 8:30 for Tehillim. After Tehillim, there was a special shiur Chassidus by Rabbi Zalman Baras. Following Shacharis, and a heartfelt speech by Rabbi Menachem M. Scharf – Menahel in Queens –  all the Bochurim went to the tent for Sseudas Shabbos. Throughout the early afternoon, there were Shiurim Klalilim by Rabbi Eliyahu Simpson and Rabbi Eliyahu Tennenbaum. After Mincha, there was a special “Shabbas Achdus” farbrengen with the Rosh Yeshivahs Rabbi Gershon Avtzon and Rabbi Mendel Scharf. The farbrengen was followed by Maariv, a video of the Rebbe and a special “Achdus” picture.

Later that evening, a special Melave Malka Seudah took place in the Yeshivah’s dining room and everyone left strengthened in their Hiskashrus and Achdus in the Shlichus of Kabbalas Pnei Moshiach Tzidkeinu.

A special thank you to the Talmidei Hashluchim from all Yeshivos involved for the efforts and involvement in the Shabbos.

The costs for such an amazing Shabbos is over $10,000 and after getting clear Brochos from the Rebbe, we were able to fundraise 85% percent of the expenses, and we give a heartfelt thank you to all those that gave their helping hands enabling this “Shabbos Achdus” to take place.

May the Achdus between Chassidim lead us to the Geulah Shlaima Now!
