The Jewish Children’s Museum of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was evacuated this morning, Thursday, after a threat to the facility was received.
The building has been evacuated, and the FBI and bomb squad were at the scene, and the NYPD has called for a level 1 mobilization.
The wording or the type of threat was unknown.
A decision was made at around 9:30AM to evacuate the building, which is located at 792 Eastern Parkway. It is across the street from Chabad World Headquarters – 770 Eastern Parkway.
“770” was not affected by the evacuation.
Sources have informed ChabadInfo.com that the threat came via email, however the wording or the type of threat was unknown.
