Zeh hayom asah HaShem, nagilah v’nism’chah vo! Following the letter publicized this morning, signed jointly by all three members of the Crown Heights Beis Din, the Chairman of the Vaad Hakohol, R’ Zaki Tamir, publicized that Achdus has finally been achieved Baruch Hashem.
Immediately after the completion of the process in court and after the judge ratified the move, R’ Zaki Tamir shared a video where he thanked Hashem and the Rebbe for the great privilege, calling it “the most amazing day of my life.” R’ Zaki added that along with the three Rabbonim, Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba, Rabbi Aharon Yaakov Shwei and Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi Segal was also determined to serve as a Moreh Tzedek under the Beis Din, as per the Zabla.
ChabadInfo.com has learned that amongst the many community Askanim who were involved in achieving this Shalom, R’ Levi Huebner stood at the forefront and invested tremendous efforts in recent months to bring the unity agreement between the Rabbonim and end the long-standing dispute.
The details published so far indicate that the Kashrus system under the Beis Din will operate under all three Rabbonim, and all the rulings will be with the consent of all members of the Beis Din.
In effect, the ruling of the Zabla of five Rabbonim from a few years ago was approved, stating that the three Rabbonim chosen by the public would serve as the Rabbonim of the Beis Din which includes heading the Kashrus of Crown Heights.
