Last night, a Farbrengen was held amongst the Shluchim in Russia, many of whom are friends of Rabbi Binyomin Wolff, OB”M. The young Shliach tragically passed away on Friday night at the young age of 43, in his Makom HaShlichus of Hanover, Germany.

The Chief Rabbi of Russia, Rabbi Berel Lazar, spoke in tribute to Rabbi Wolff and told of personal acquaintance with the Shliach who did the Rebbe’s Shlichus, all with great humility and great Hiskashrus to the Rebbe.

Rabbi Lazar spoke very sharply about the current situation and suggested immediate action.

“It is very simple, you ask why 770, the Rebbe’s Shul is closed? It is just like by the Beis Hamikdash, because Hashem can’t enter his home because of all the Sinas Chinam going on! That’s the reason. The Rebbe can’t enter – not because of coronavirus. The Beis Hamikdash was not destroyed because the Romans destroyed it.

The root of our problem is that there are two Kinus Hashluchims, and two separate factions.”

“I want to talk more about the good. Here in Moscow, there is a community with people that some are Mishichistim and some not, like every other community in the world, but we are still one community who are united and all get along with each other.

Why? Because we all make it work and no one will say “go to this Shul and not that Shul.” We all make it work and get along.

I’m not saying it’s easy, I know there are all types of complicated issues and I know that there are “Mushrooms;” but still, if we want to make it work, we can make it work. I am ready to go to every Shliach anywhere in the world and break my head to make it work.

It happened because we were told, “you can’t be united and be together – let’s see how you will be not being able to be together.”

Not ready to unite with another Chossid? He is your brother, another son of the Rebbe. He is a Shliach. Let’s get out of this Golus together.

How do we do it? If we don’t accomplish this within the next 24-hours, we are negating what the Rebbe told us on Chof Ches Nissan “Do everything in your capabilities” and all that we are doing is not worth it, Ch”v.

Today, all barriers should be broken, everyone should call their fellow Chossid and get along. How? I don’t know, but we have no choice.

Rabbi Wolff and Rabbi Schwei passed away in one day – it’s enough!

Rabbi Groner is enough. R’ Mottel Chein is enough. I don’t have to say the whole list.

We have 24 hours to take care of this, the Rebbe will surely help us.

The Yetzer Hara is happy and wants us to continue this division.

There are problems? Let us sit down with three Rabbonim and sort things out.”
