    6) If You Don’t Get Along – Split The Job

Shlichus According To The Rebbe #6: We present the sixth installment of directives of the Rebbe to Shluchim, focusing on directives that the Shluchim seem to be unaware of ● Today: When a “Head” Shliach doesn’t get along with his worker, what should be done? ● Read More

Chabad Askanim in Israel “merited” to receive many letters throughout the years, in which the Rebbe decries the nonsensical strife and arguments which prevailed, and caused much damage to Chabad activities, mainly because certain activities were overlapping, but much of the work wasn’t being done, and the bulk of the energy was used for waging war.

In a letter written by the Rebbe the 4th of Nissan 5732, the Rebbe writes to one of the Chabad activists in Israel:

“In response to your letters: It is obvious that it is impossible to settle from afar the various disagreements between the Anash Askanim in Israel, because there needs to be a hearing of all the reasons, opinions and responses, etc.

Therefore, it is incumbent on you Askanim – in your location – to try and talk between yourselves as much as possible. In a topic in which you won’t reach an agreement – try to split the work between the [different] people, and obviously each one should be happy with the success and activities of his fellow Askanim…

Obviously, every activity strengthening Yiras Shomayim, Torah and Mitzvos, etc. is good and needed; however, as I wrote in the past, don’t go into debt, for others have done so and they -Rachmana Litzlan- got “burned” well, and the gain was offset by the loss…

Also, Anash should not join any political parties.”
