A fascinating symposium, dedicated to the Rebbe’s explanations on Rashi, will mark sixty years since the Rebbe paved a new path in studying Rashi’s pirush on the Torah in the year 5725.
Participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the rich world of “Rashi sichos,” beginning with the Rebbe’s novel approach, along with terms coined by the Rebbe, such as “klutz kashya,” “the understanding of a ben chamesh lamikra,” and “yeinah shel Torah,” together with unique principles emerging from the Rebbe’s study method. There will be an opportunity to hear presentations from individuals immersed in the Rebbe’s Torah, and particularly in the world of Rashi sichos.
A special session will be dedicated to the history of the “Rashi sichos,” including personalities and stories from throughout the years.
Dinner will be served between sessions, and a farbrengen in preparation for Gimmel Tammuz will follow the official program.
The Yom Iyun will take place at Yeshivas Chovevei Torah, located on Eastern Parkway, near 770. Full details will be published later.
The study program is organized by the Va’ad HaMosifin of Crown Heights.
Anash and Temimim, both guests and locals, are invited to participate in preparation for Gimmel Tammuz, strengthening our hiskashrus through studying the Rebbe’s Torah.
